Hammer Drive

A hammer drive, also known as a hammer-set anchor or nail-in anchor, is a type of fastener used to secure objects to concrete, brick, or other hard surfaces. It is typically used for light-duty applications where a quick and simple installation method is preferred.
Hammer drive anchors are commonly used for attaching electrical boxes, conduit straps, and other lightweight fixtures to masonry or concrete surfaces. They offer a relatively fast and easy installation process compared to other types of anchors, but they may not provide as much holding strength as more heavy-duty anchors like wedge anchors or drop-in anchors. Therefore, they are best suited for applications with light loads.
