Cartridge Rolls

A cartridge roll is a small, cylindrical abrasive tool designed for precision sanding, deburring, and finishing in tight or hard-to-reach areas. It’s made by tightly winding abrasive cloth around a center core—either in a straight (regular) roll or a tapered (conical) shape. Cartridge rolls are commonly used with die grinders or rotary tools and mounted on a mandrel.
These rolls are especially useful for working on inside corners, holes, and fillets, as well as for cleaning up weld seams or refining small metal parts. They come in various sizes, shapes, and grits to accommodate different tasks, from aggressive material removal to fine surface smoothing. Due to their compact size and flexibility, cartridge rolls are ideal for detailed, precision work in metal fabrication, aerospace, and automotive applications.
